Here are the 2025 results from the Newtown Lions 25th Great Pootatuck Duck Race on the Pootatuck River in Historic Sandy Hook Center
Here’s How the Duck Race Works
Each
numbered duck ticket corresponds with one uniquely numbered rubber duck.
Duck tickets will be available for purchase until 2 pm on race day
At 2:30 on race day, the rubber ducks corresponding to all the sold
tickets will be dumped into the Pootatuck River from the Church Hill Rd
bridge in Sandy Hook Center.
The tickets corresponding to the first 20 ducks to cross the finish line are
the winning tickets.
Ticket holders do not need to be present to claim their prize.
